This is a wonderful 1940s ski jacket made of lighter weight brown wool. The label reads “Hobby Togs by Philmac Sportswear Inc” - Philmac was located on St Alexandre St in Montreal. This 1940s ski jacket does up with a Lightning brand brass zipper diagonally positioned to the left - Lightning is a Canadian brand of zipper. It has padded squared shoulders, button up cuffs, a button-down flapped pocket at the right and a long pointy collar. There is a gold toned H and a T at either point of the collar, which stand for Hobby Togs. It is unlined.
Sizing: No size is indicated, and although this 1940s ski jacket should fit a medium size, please rely on the following measurements for fit, taken from the exterior, noting that if you need to wear a sweater underneath, it would be more appropriate for a small size:

Chest: 42” around, taken under the arms

Condition: This 1940s ski jacket is in excellent condition with the only defect being that a left side dart is a little unstitched and would need a few stitches - otherwise, no noted defect, this has been very well cared for over the years.
This is a rare 1940s ski jacket, lightweight, almost like a heavy shirt - you don’t often see these!
